Pre Requirements of F.Optic Installation
a.) & b.)A minimum gap of 5-6 inches required between the conctrete ceiling and the false ceiling of POP & Gypsom. The installation stage comes after the Lambi-patti and 2 coats of primer.
After 2 coats of primer done in the ceiling, some cut outs of 4” x 4” done in the ceiling as required to install the fibre. All fibre strends installed under the false ceiling are taken to the Light source and the cut outs done in the ceiling are leveled after the fibre installation. An locking end tip is used on every fibre end to protect the fibre going inside. A half inch extra length of fibre is left in the locking end tip which is cut and leveled after the final painting done in the ceiling. c.)Wooden Ceiling:- For wooden ceiling the fibre optic is installed prior to the final fixing of the wooden ceiling on the concrete ceiling.
So, the pricing of fibre optic is always different in every site due to different size of the area, no. of stars required by the client and the provision done for the Light source. So, we always take the measurement of every site and offer the budget after the calculation of Fibre strends depending upon the above mentioned factors. The minimum no. of stars per sq ft area we suggest is 2 nos. The standard no. of star we suggest per sq ft is 3 nos.
